How can I place an order?

Orders are placed on this website by creating a unique account using your email address.

Create an account by using the “Sign In / Sign Up”” link at the top of the page, then add your email address and click “Register”, or at checkout, an account can be created from the information requested.

Once your email is registered, you will receive an email from Luxfaire with a unique password and instructions on how to view your account, change your password, etc.

When you return to this site, logging in will automatically recall your billing and shipping information. This process allows Luxfaire to provide a high level of security for your personal information, and it enables you to personally and securely update your billing and shipping information and other necessary details. It also allows you to keep track of your orders, update your billing and shipping information and other useful data.

In addition, you may also choose to checkout as a guest, without creating an account. In this case only information related to your order will be stored and no account will be created.


What forms of payment do you accept?

Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and more through PayPal.

How is my information secure?

Security is a priority, and Luxfaire maintains several security measures to protect your personal data. SSL [Secure Sockets Layer] encryption technology is used on all pages of the Luxfaire website, which protects your credit card information against interception and manipulation.

Will I be charged sales tax?

Regulations and laws regarding taxation of merchandise and handling are unique to state and province. Your shipping address determines the sales taxes estimated on your order which, if required, is applied at checkout. Generally, sales tax is always applied to orders shipping in California, whereas most out of state shipments are not subject to sales tax.


How can I track my order?

Upon placing an order, an email will be sent to you confirming your order. A second email containing tracking will be sent to you once the order is shipped. You can also check the progress of your shipment by logging on to your account and going to “Orders” which displays on the main page of your account after logging in. You can click your order number to view order details, such as tracking.


Can I add items to my order?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to add further items to a completed order.
Please place a new order to purchase additional items.


Can I cancel an order?

Once an order has been placed, we are unable to cancel or change it. Please double check your order prior to purchasing.


What if I forgot my password?

On the login page, click on “Forgot Your Password” link. The reset link will expire if not used within 24 hours.

 


Shipping


Do you ship overseas?

Yes, we ship all over the world. Shipping costs will apply and will be added at checkout. Most international packages are shipped out USPS International First Class averaging a 15 business day delivery timeframe. Packages can take longer to deliver if held in customs.

Please note that for shipping to countries outside the continental United States, any import VAT and customs charges are the responsibility of the purchaser. These charges must be paid in full by the recipient before the parcel will be released. Luxfaire is not able to estimate the amount of such costs. For further information, please contact your local customs department as charges vary from country to country.

Should you refuse delivery or payment of duties and taxes, your parcel will be returned to Luxfaire and a credit note will be issued only. The customer is then responsible for the original shipment charges incurred to Luxfaire, any import fees on the package, cost of goods if damaged or destroyed, and the cost of returning the package to Luxfaire. This amount will be deducted from your total merchandise credit note.


Why is there a $60 surcharge to ship books internationally?

Due to the size and weight of these books they are more costly to ship.


How quickly will my order ship?

While we make every attempt to process and ship out orders as expeditiously as we receive them, orders for in-stock items can take up to 72 hours to ship out of the warehouse, pending on the time orders are placed. Friday, and some weekend and holiday orders can take slightly longer.

Personalized orders may take longer to process due to Dita’s schedule. If you order a personalized item while she is traveling, we will email you with an expected delivery window.


What about partial shipments?

Inventory levels or personalized orders might make it necessary to ship partial orders. In those cases we will inform you by email of the shipment details. Shipment charges are not affected.


How long does it take to receive my order?

Most shipments travel USPS First Class (average 5-7 business days for the continental United States)

 


Returns


What is the policy on returns?

All sales are final. We are not responsible for items damaged in shipping. If you would like to add insurance to your order, please request an invoice in your order notes.


What can I do if I receive damaged goods?

Please contact luxfaire@dita.net if you receive a faulty item.

What can I do if I received the wrong item(s)?

Please contact luxfaire@dita.net if your order contains the wrong item(s).

What is your privacy policy?

Luxfaire is committed to protecting your privacy. To process a purchase on our site, we collect your email, shipping, billing and credit card information.


Does Luxfaire share information?

No. We will never sell, rent or disclose this information to any third party.

Covid-19


Due to additional safety precautions being taken at our warehouse, orders may take longer than usual to arrive.


We also want to let you know that USPS is experiencing severe delivery delays that are out of our control. Having shipped many orders in the past few months, we have found that USPS is not always updating tracking details. That being said, when you receive your tracking information from us, please allow up to 10 business days for tracking to be updated by USPS. Rest assured, if you received a tracking number, your order is on the way!
